  • 2. Demolition Derby

The Demolition Derby is something you for sure do not want to miss. Held on Saturday, October 6 at 1:30pm in the Grandstand, you’ll see those drivers smash up their cars as they try to win the trophy and the money. Come on out and get a little mud in your teeth!

  • 3. Livestock Shows

  • 4. Contests

It just wouldn’t be the Fair without some good old educational contests that help our next generations to get involved, learn a few new things, and grow into fine young men and women. See the Queen of the Fair on Friday, September 28 at 8pm, Pie Baking on Tuesday, October 2 at 12pm, Senior Citizen Salute on Tuesday, October 2 at 3pm, Livestock Skillathon on Tuesday, October 2 at 4:30pm, Spelling Bee on Tuesday, October 2 at 6pm, Talent Contents on Wednesday, October 3 (Grades K-5) at 4:30pm and 7pm, and Thursday, October 4 (Grades 6-12) at 4:30pm and 7pm, Cheerleading on Wednesday, October 3 at 5pm, Tractor Operators on Thursday, October 4 at 4pm, and Ugly Pickup Truck on Saturday, October 6 at 2pm.

  • 5. Western Town Gunfight

Come watch those cowboys shoot it out with the Sheriff and his Deputies. Between the smoke, the smells, and the bangs, you’ll feel like you’re right in the middle of the action, just feet away from those .45 pistols and double-barreled shotguns. The gunfight is held every night when weather permits except for Sunday, September 30 and Thursday, October 4.

  • 6. Food

Yes! You can’t go to the Fair without feeding your face! There’s everything from burgers to pizza to Italian sausages with peppers and onions to turkey legs and more. Then, there’s desert! Just eat it like it is the meal, if you’d like. Funnel cakes, fried Oreos, Candy Apples, Cotton Candy, and who knows what all else will be the new fad this year.

  • 7. Amusement Rides and Games

Powers Great American Midways has been thrilling its audiences since 1980 with rides that will make your hair stand up. Of course, they have the slower rides for those less adventurous and kiddie rides for the little ones too. And make sure you test your skills and luck on the many games they have to offer. You’ll find the PGAM staff to be a courteous team providing wholesome fun and entertainment.

  • 8. Exhibit and Educational Buildings

Cruise through the Exhibit and Educational Buildings so you can see all of the winning entries that range from quilts to antiques to artwork to canned foods to photos to bottle collections and much more.
